Traditional Funeral Services
You, the family, have developed your own traditions over the years and through the generations; But most common in our area today; traditional funerals, are normally Church based experiences.
This usually includes the casketed body present for a private or public viewing and visitation, guest book registration for those attending a special gathering of family and friends at the funeral home the evening before the funeral, a church funeral with minister, musicians and casket bearers, burial at the cemetery of choice and a time of fellowship with gathered family and friends.
If cremation is your preference, you may still have the traditional funeral at the Church then the remains of your loved one will go to the crematory after the funeral instead of to the cemetery. The cremains may eventually find their place in the family grave space at later time or be kept at home.
If you are looking at scheduling a funeral, please call the church at 701-873-4397 or contact Barbot Funeral Home to help guide you in this hard time.
